1. We are very proud to have 2  ICF Accredited Master Certified Coaches working within our organisation, that have not only developed the curriculum for both our accredited Diplomas but also deliver over 50% of the actual coach training on our Professional Diploma.
   
   Who are the ICF?  The International Coaching Federation is the leading global organisation for coaches and coaching. The ICF is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards. Their highest credential is a Master Certified Coach ( MCC ) and to qualify one has to have completed over 200 hours of coach specific education and have at least 2500 hours of client coaching experience.  Both myself and our Coach Training Director Julia Rogers are MCC's. As of December 31, 2023, there were 2,204 active MCC credential-holders worldwide, and approximately 125 MCC's in the UK.  This means you have a vast amount of knowledge and over 20 years experience of coaching when training with us, alongside the rest of our experienced team of trainers who are ICF accredited Professional Certified Coaches ( PCC ) 
2. Our Professional coach Diploma is Triple Accredited by 3 different coaching bodies. 
   

   Our Professional Coach Diploma is not only accredited by the International Coaching Federation,  (ICF Level 2), but also the European Mentoring & Coaching Council ( EMCC ) and the Association for Coaching ( AC ). Being accredited by 3 different bodies means you stand out from the crowd.

3. Our curriculum consists of a diverse range of Psychology based coaching approaches backed up by science.
   The approaches coaches use vary. Some coaches use one or two approaches, limiting how much they can help their clients to access transformative change.  As a coach, you’ll need to discern which approaches work best for your clients. At Optimus, we  teach you proven approaches backed by legitimate science. Why? Because we want you to be effective and successful. We teach you Neuroscience, Positive Psychology, Somatics and much more. We focus on both the theoretical underpinnings and the practical applications of each, allowing you to fully master each approach. 
4. We make a comprehensive coaching education accessible 
   We know you have other things happening in your life, so you might be looking for a flexible option. Our course offers flexibility without ever compromising on quality. You can get a comprehensive education without signing up for an intensive, full-time approach. This course can be done around your schedule, whenever suits you. You’ll even get access to playback videos if you can’t attend video sessions. Catching up is always a possibility.
5. We prioritise coaching practice over written exams
   Our focus is on coaching practice and so there are no final written assessments in either of our ICF Accredited Diplomas
6. We develop your business skills and teach you how to secure clients
   Being a successful coach involves more than just stellar coaching skills (which we, of course, help you develop). Your success also depends on your ability to market yourself and run a sustainable business. At Optimus, we offer business mentoring to all of our students. Our goal is to demystify business processes and build your acumen, so you can start your own business with confidence and clarity. This is part of both of our Diplomas and not added bolt ons with additional costs. It is included.
7. We include coaching supervision into your training AFTER you graduate. 
   We now include coaching supervision sessions as standard in both of our accredited diplomas.  We're one of the very few training providers that offer coaching supervision AND ICF coach mentoring as standard, so you have everything you need to be a confident and competent coach. 

   We believe that qualified coaches need to continually invest in ongoing coaching supervision for their own professional practice: it’s something which many accreditation bodies (EMCC, AC) require and others recommend.
