Mentoring Certification
This is for you if you:
Are an existing mentor coach (or want to become one) and are wanting to have ICF certified training aligned to the mentor coaching standards.

This course is accredited by the ICF for 25 CCEs (23 synchronous)
This course is designed for existing coaches and mentor coaches who want to meet the new ICF mentor standards. We've delivered the training previously in 2024 and have had great feedback.
Includes:
- 18 hours of live training from the an experienced ICF MCC mentor coach who has worked at ACC, PCC and MCC
- 2 recording submissions / observations with feedback (we can provide example clients if needed)
- 2 observed group mentoring sessions
- 1 x 1:1 mentor session with Ruth Kudzi, MCC to support you personally and look at how you can build your practice
- Reflection and mentoring approach statement
This course provides 23 hours of synchronous learning which means you're eligible to become accredited with the ICF as a mentor coach if you complete the course (alongside completing the appropriate ACC BARS training, PCC marker training and / or MCC BARS training). We will ensure you have all materials and forms you need to operate as an ICF mentor coach within the current way of working and from January 1st 2027.
What You Will Learn
The new ICF mentor standards and how these impact your role as a mentor : we will look at these in depth so you know how to use them with clients.
How to support coaches in the ICF accreditation process and the new role as a mentor. You will be confident in how you can deliver a quality mentoring experience.
The new accreditation process for ICF mentors so you are compliant. This training supports you whether you're brand new to mentor coaching or experienced.
We'll explore
The ICF mentor standards and what these look like in practice with real examples, observed sessions, feedback and practice: we want this experience to be practical and meaningful and will be working on building expertise in :
- Evaluating coaching skills
- Providing high quality feedback
- Supporting a clients skill development in alignment with ICF's credentialed level criteria (ACC, PCC or MCC minimum skill requirements)
Explore formative evaluation methods, feedback practices, facilitation of client skill development and training on level-specific skills evaluation criteria
How to run 1:1 and group sessions with the new mentor standards in mind
This course is 23 hours synchronous learning meaning you meet the requirements for the ICF mentor coaching accreditation.
